Bear-Bear is a boy. He is five. And most of his life, actually from the time he ate 'Gerbers' and other 'stuff' he 'hated' anything green. When he was three he wouldn't even play with his pretend green vegetable toys (pretend food). Over the last year he began to appreciate green peas, green beans, tolerates brocoli and now today scarfed down two servings of spinach salad...!
We are still looking for the pod....

Most definitely a proud moment for a mom! I remember how ecstatic I was when my first son ate his first greens, spinach pie! Congratulations! :)
Proud AND Amazed, Kay. We like to eat veggies and it looks like it might have rubbed off on our Bear-Bear too :)
Broccoli day before yesterday and spinach today.... what a week!
BTW, the Quinoa salad looks fabulous! I'll probably try it this weekend. Too bad I'm the only one at home who likes Quinoa.
My youngest also doesn't like many vegetables, except lettuce, sometimes carrots, raw peppers, and sometimes green beans. She eats sauerkraut and artichokes, though!
Show him some old Popeye cartoons!
Whoever said miracles no longer happen today? Way to go!

By now he is on to thinking that cauliflower is swell. We are still looking for the pod though. What? After almost 5 years of trying to get the kid to eat veggies he suddenly goes crazy for them? That is weird even though it totally rocks :)
